THE KETO COOKIE NEWS
Our First Newsletter - May 2019
We’ve had an amazing start to the year. The first quarter is over and it’s taken us a hot minute to get this newsletter done. We’ve had tremendous growth since we opened our online store back in October, 2018. Things have definitely been crazy at times with all of the events, meet-ups,
sponsorships and giveaways that we’ve been involved in since the first of the year. So without further adieu, let’s talk about what’s been happening at The Keto Cookie!
This year started out with a bang on January 2nd. So many of you placed orders the moment we came back online. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding over the holiday break! That first week was HUGE and didn’t really think that we could beat that one. We were wrong!
We ran a Valentines Day promotion that far exceeded our expectations. We sold so much product that we had to throw in a couple of extra bake nights just to fill all of the orders. Thankfully, all of our orders were shipped on time and everyone received their cookies by Valentines Day.
We also sponsored several Keto meet-ups in Minneapolis, Tampa, Orlando and Las Vegas!
In March, we sponsored the Fit2Fat2Fit cruise. We supplied them with cookies and donations to help them purchase things like T-Shirts and swag bags. That was fun watching everyone enjoy themselves on such a fun trip. Unfortunately, we could not attend. That’s okay since the reason we couldn’t attend was the fact that we had previously booked our own cruise for a week after the Fit2Fat2Fit cruise returned to port. What an incredible vacation, and well needed. But, all fun must come to an end! We returned home to prepare for FitCon. The next 10 days were spent scrambling to bake 300 dozen cookies and prepare for an amazing event.
FitCon was a great success!
We had the opportunity to meet some really amazing people including Dr. Ryan Lowry, Thomas and Amber DeLauer, Josh Perry, and so many more. We had our booth set right next to the folks at Keto Chow and had a great time hanging out with the owners Chris and Miriam Bair. Not only did we get to sample a bunch of their flavors, we were invited to attend the Keto Salt Lake conference two weeks later, which was another great success.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing some exciting news about our formulations, better packaging, and maybe even a new flavor (we’re still working out the details on that one). Thank you all for being our best asset, we couldn’t do any of this without you!
Much Love! Shaun and Jodie Hess - The Keto Cookie, LLC
