FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
How Long Will My Cookies Last?
Generally, your cookies will last up to 3 weeks. Keep in mind that we do not use any chemical preservatives in our products. That being said, our cookies are considered perishable. Use common sense food storage practices in order to keep your cookies as fresh as possible. We ask that you freeze your cookies if you intend on making them last more than two weeks. ALWAYS refrigerate or freeze your Sugar? Cookies once they are received, as they are made with real cream cheese and will spoil faster than the other flavors.
When Will My Cookies Ship?
Orders ship primarily on Mondays. Orders received by 6:00 PM on Sundays will ship on Monday. This allows our cookies to be shipped as fresh as possible. In some cases, depending on sales, we may add an additional shipping day on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Do You Ship Internationally?
At this time we cannot offer international shipping due to import/export regulations and other factors. We hope to be able to offer international orders in the future.
Why Do You Charge For Shipping?
Our cookies are manufactured with top quality ingredients and at very high standards. In order to provide the best tasting cookies available, they cost much more to make than a standard, high carbohydrate cookie. While we make every effort to keep costs down, we will not sacrifice the quality of our product for profit. Therefore, we charge a nominal fee for shipping. We would rather charge less for our products than have to raise our prices to cover shipping costs.
What is Erythritol?
Erythritol is a naturally-occuring sugar alcohol (polyol) found in fruits and fermented foods and is used as a sugar substitute. It has been approved for use in the United States and other countries for use as a food additive with a sweetness that is approximately 70% of cane sugar.
Why Are Sugar Alcohols Subtracted From Carbohydrates?
Sugar alcohols are much harder to digest and therefore have little to no affect on blood sugar levels and insulin response. Therefore, when calculating total net carbs, sugar alcohol (just as we do with fiber) is deducted from total carbs. What is the Shelf Life? All of our cookies are baked fresh without preservatives. They are individually wrapped to preserve freshness. As a general rule, they should remain fresh for up to two weeks.
Do Your Cookies Freeze Well?
Absolutely! All of our cookies freeze very well. To thaw a frozen cookie, simply leave (still in the package) on the counter for a couple of hours and they should be perfectly delicious.
Are Your Cookies Vegan?
Technically, no. Our cookies contain dairy (Milk, Eggs, Butter). However some living a vegan lifestyle choose to eat certain dairy products.
